A new Cancun attraction is opening its theme park doors with snowfall and minus 24C (-11F) temperatures. The indoor attraction will feature real snowfall where, according to the plaza, ‘snowflakes never melt’.

On December 15, the snow theme park will open its doors in Plaza La Isla Cancun II in the Cancun Hotel Zone as Diversiones Polo Norte or North Pole Amusements.

“Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of winter magic. On December 15, a real snow theme park arrives in Cancun where winter dreams come true! Join us in creating magical memories where every laugh is a snowflake that never melts,” the La Isla Cancun Plaza said.

The new city attraction will have real snow which requires a temperature of -24 C (-11F) so attendees are invited to arrive warmly dressed. The space will be open Monday to Friday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 9:00 p.m.

According to La Isla Cancun Plaza, the cost is 200 pesos per person for both adults and kids to enter the Diversiones Polo Norte or North Pole Amusements snow theme park in the Cancun Hotel Zone.
