Inaugural flight signals significant tourism boost for the state
On June 13, 2024, the new first New York-Tulum flight belonging to airline JetBlue landed at Tulum International.
This new air connection marks a historic day for tourism in the state. The inauguration of the new direct flight from New York to Tulum is operated by the airline JetBlue with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The plane touched down shortly after 7:00 a.m. Thursday with 168 passengers. It is scheduled to provide the direct New York to Tulum route daily.
The new flight is part of a series of initiatives to strengthen the tourist infrastructure of Quintana Roo and improve the experience for visitors.
