News / Window shopping on a new level: Delta opens the Window Seat Shop
The Window Seat Shop is open to customers traveling through John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4 and online
Delta is bringing SkyMiles Members some of the most coveted artisan gifts and goods from around the globe — and a jump on 2025 Medallion Status.
Welcome to the Window Seat Shop — a curated pop-up experience designed to bring Delta SkyMiles Members a taste of what the airline’s top destinations have to offer while giving shoppers the opportunity to earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) toward 2025 Status.
Beginning November 14, the Window Seat Shop is open to customers traveling through John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4 and online at delta.com/windowseatshop. The online shop is exclusively available to Delta SkyMiles American Express Card Members on Tuesday, November 14, and opens broadly to all Members on Wednesday, Novovember 15.
The shop gives Members access to carefully curated goods from small businesses in exciting destinations across Delta’s vast global network, including:
- Skateboard decks from WAFFLESNCREAM, Nigeria’s first skateboarding company aiming to support young Africans interested in extreme sports and skate culture.
- Quirky, cult-favorite real-bread lamps from Japanese artisan Yukiko Morita.
- Hand-crafted pottery from Brazilian gallery Elysian Collective.
- Natural, organic skincare from CHILL Cape Town, inspired by the botanicals of South Africa and the African continent.
Members can also shop for unmissable experiences, like the opportunity to hit the court at Madison Square Garden for a shootaround before settling into a courtside seat for a New York Knicks game or flying a private hot air balloon over the southwestern U.S.
Delta opened the shop with help from New York icon Carmelo Anthony, a proud Platinum Medallion Member and small business owner.
Shoppers who are not SkyMiles Members can join the program simply and quickly in person at JFK and online at delta.com/joinskymiles.
Delta is dually focused both on differentiating the customer experience and deepening its relationship with its SkyMiles Members. Recently, the airline announced modifications to the Delta SkyMiles Program, enhancing program elements and adding several new benefits.
In addition to the program updates, Members can continue to take advantage of Delta SkyMiles favorites they know and love, including miles that don’t expire, no blackout dates for Award tickets on any Delta Air Lines-operated flight, and fast, free onboard Wi-Fi available today on most domestic flights, and rolling out on all flights by the end of 2024.
