News / Delta expands Boston’s gateway to Europe
Delta strengthens Boston’s role as a premier global gateway with new nonstop service to Madrid and Nice, and enhanced flights to Barcelona and Milan

Delta is unlocking even more of Europe for Boston travelers with two brand-new nonstop routes: Madrid (MAD) launching May 16 and Nice (NCE) launching May 17. From sunlit coastlines to storied city streets, these routes bring Europe’s most iconic experiences closer to Boston than ever before.
Discover Madrid, Nice and more with Delta
Delta’s new nonstop service from Boston to Madrid and Nice brings two of Europe’s most iconic destinations closer than ever. From the architectural grandeur and vibrant energy of Spain’s capital to the relaxed elegance of the French Riviera, these routes offer Boston travelers a rich mix of culture, coastline and cuisine.
Whether you're strolling through Madrid’s historic boulevards or soaking up the sun along Nice’s Mediterranean shores, Delta’s new flights make it easier to explore, with daily service to Madrid and three-times-weekly flights to Nice on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, plus convenient connections across Europe to match.
With these additions, Delta will now serve 12 European destinations from Boston, offering travelers unrivaled global coverage and more ways to connect across the continent.
Further enhancing this network, Delta’s expanded service to Barcelona and Milan adds even more options for Boston travelers. Daily flights to Barcelona begin May 7, and four-times-weekly service to Milan starts May 16, both launching earlier than last year to better align with seasonal demand and provide greater flexibility.
Built for Boston: Connecting you to more of the world
These additions build on Boston’s role as a premier global gateway in Delta’s network. In the span of two decades, Delta has nearly tripled its service in Boston, growing from 25 to approximately 70 destinations worldwide. Together with its partners, Delta now connects Boston to four continents, offering around 20 daily international flights.
As Delta’s global footprint from Boston grows, so does its commitment to elevating the travel experience. At Logan, the newly opened Delta One Lounge offers 6,700 square feet of refined comfort, including fine dining, personalized service and a nautical-inspired design that pays tribute to Boston’s maritime heritage. For other travelers, the expanded Delta Sky Club spans nearly 21,000 square feet and features soundproof work booths, shower suites, and a variety of seating and dining options—earning recognition as one of USA Today’s top 10 airport lounges.
On board, Delta’s new flights to Madrid and Nice will be operated by the Airbus A330-900neo, featuring four product experiences. Delta One® customers enjoy lie-flat seats, chef-curated meals, and exclusive Missoni-designed amenities. Across all products, travelers benefit from curated dining and Delta Studio entertainment, and SkyMiles members can enjoy fast, free Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile.
