Delta SkyMiles Amex Cards now offer limited-time perks, including two free round-trip flights, up to 200,000 bonus miles, and statement credits. See all offers here.

From August 27 through November 4, 2026, new applicants for a Delta SkyMiles® American Express Card can take advantage of a lineup of limited-time welcome offers, the most generous the co-brand portfolio has featured to date.

A First-Ever Perk for Reserve Card Members

For the very first time, new Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Consumer Card holders can unlock two Round-Trip Delta Comfort Flight Certificates plus 50,000 bonus miles after spending $10,000 on the card within their first six months of membership. These flight certificates come with no blackout dates and can be redeemed for round-trip travel in Delta Comfort or Delta Main on Delta-operated routes across the contiguous U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Bookings must be made at least 21 days ahead of travel, and travelers should expect to cover up to $80 per person in taxes and fees. Additional terms apply.

Welcome Offers Across the Full Card Lineup

The promotional period brings enhanced sign-up incentives to nearly every card in the Delta SkyMiles Amex family:

  • Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Card: Two round-trip Comfort Flight Certificates + 50,000 bonus miles after $10,000 spent in six months.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business Card: Up to 200,000 bonus miles after $20,000 spent in six months — the largest bonus-mile offer of the year for this card.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Card: Up to 90,000 bonus miles plus a $300 statement credit after $4,000 spent in six months.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business Card: 100,000 bonus miles after $8,000 spent in six months.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Gold Card: Up to 80,000 bonus miles plus a $250 statement credit after $3,000 spent in six months.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business Card: 90,000 bonus miles after $6,000 spent in six months.

Exact welcome offers can vary by applicant, so interested cardholders should check their personalized offer when applying.

Building on a Summer of Added Benefits

These new sign-up incentives follow a set of card benefit upgrades introduced earlier in the summer to mark 30 years of the Delta–American Express partnership — all delivered without raising annual fees. Highlights of that refresh included a free second checked bag for Basic Card Members on domestic Delta flights, a rideshare credit for Gold Card Members upon their first renewal, and updated card designs. The free second-bag benefit in particular has become a standout favorite among cardholders.

Beyond the welcome bonuses, Delta SkyMiles Amex Card Members can continue to unlock long-term value, including:

  • TakeOff 15: A 15% discount on award travel booked with miles on Delta flights via delta.com or the Fly Delta app, available to Gold, Gold Business, Platinum, Platinum Business, Reserve, and Reserve Business Card Members. (Discount excludes partner-operated flights and taxes/fees.)
  • MQD Headstart & MQD Boost: Platinum, Platinum Business, Reserve, and Reserve Business Card Members receive a $2,500 Medallion Qualification Dollar (MQD) head start each qualification year, with additional MQDs earned through everyday card spending.
  • Complimentary Upgrade Priority: Eligible Reserve and Platinum Card Members are added to the upgrade list directly after Delta SkyMiles Medallion Members.
  • Global Dining Access by Resy: Reserve Card Members who link their card to Resy gain special access to participating U.S. restaurants.
  • In-Flight Perks: Through October 31, 2026, Card Members can redeem one free premium snack on select flights over 900 miles via Delta Sync Wi-Fi, plus a 20% statement credit on eligible in-flight food and beverage purchases.

Exclusive Access to Experiences

Card Membership also opens doors to unique, money-can't-buy moments. The Card Member Collection on SkyMiles Experiences offers curated, mile-redeemable access to entertainment, fashion, and adventure experiences, with a new collection set to drop in September.

Additionally, select SkyMiles Members and Card Members have had access this summer to the Rolling Stone Residency at New York City's Cherry Lane Theatre — a six-show, intimate concert series paired with conversations hosted by a Rolling Stone editor. More shows are planned throughout 2026, with lineups announced only weeks in advance. Card Members who redeem miles for entry also receive added perks like exclusive merchandise, a custom trading card, and dining access at Cherry Lane's Wild Cherry restaurant.

Prospective applicants can review full terms and compare all Delta SkyMiles American Express Card options directly with American Express.
