News / Delta’s new Atlanta-Riyadh service begins Oct. 23
The Kingdom is calling

Beginning Oct. 23, 2026, Delta will launch new nonstop service between Atlanta and Riyadh, establishing its first direct connection to Saudi Arabia and the first nonstop service between the U.S. and Riyadh operated by a U.S. airline. The route will provide customers nationwide with convenient access to Riyadh for business, cultural exploration, adventure and onward connections across the Middle East through Delta’s Atlanta hub. Customers can also take advantage of a limited-time SkyMiles Award Deal when booking travel on the new route.
“Delta’s new nonstop service to Riyadh is a meaningful step in connecting our customers to one of the world’s most important and fast-growing regions,” said Peter Carter, President of Delta Air Lines. “Through our Atlanta hub, we’re making travel between the United States and Saudi Arabia more direct and more accessible, while delivering the premium experience, reliability and care customers expect from Delta.”
Exploring Riyadh and beyond
Saudi Arabia is quickly emerging as one of the world’s most dynamic travel destinations, welcoming visitors with a growing mix of history, culture, entertainment, sports, business and hospitality. At the center of that transformation is Riyadh, where the new Atlanta-Riyadh service strengthens connections between the United States and Saudi Arabia at a time of expanding investment, international events and cultural exchange.
Riyadh serves as the perfect gateway to exploring Saudi Arabia, from ancient heritage sites, cultural districts, major events, desert excursions and coastal destinations such as Jeddah and the Red Sea coast.
In and around Riyadh, visitors will find a blend of old and new. Diriyah and the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif District offer a window into the Kingdom’s origins, with restored mudbrick architecture and historic landmarks. Nearby, areas such as the King Abdullah Financial District and Riyadh Boulevard reflect the city’s role as a hub for business, dining and modern design.

Beyond Riyadh, Saudi Arabia offers a wide range of landscapes and experiences. AlUla is known for desert scenery, art installations, archaeological sites and Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Taif, in the western highlands, offers cooler temperatures, mountain views and seasonal rose farms. Along the Red Sea coast, Jeddah features historic architecture in Al-Balad, a waterfront Corniche and a dining scene shaped by local and international influences.
For business travelers, the route offers more direct access to a major Middle East financial center, global conferences and key government institutions.
