Virgin Atlantic has announced that from December 24th through the 26th, passengers will have the opportunity to partake in unique Christmas-themed cuisine. The Christmas menu will be available to all passengers in every cabin class on select flights. The celebratory offering is meant to reward the airline's customers for choosing to fly with them during the busy holiday season. Come New Year's; the airline will have another holiday menu for passengers to enjoy.

Christmas cuisine

On December 14th, Virgin Atlantic announced that in 10 days, passengers would have the unique opportunity to partake of an unforgettable Christmas menu inflight this holiday. The fun and festive menu is limited to select flights that have not yet been specified by the airline. The menu will feature many Christmas staples, including roast turkey and butternut squash Wellington.

The menu will offer a wide array of desserts. These desserts will include milk chocolate and caramel mousse found in the economy class. Premium class will be treated to chocolate and caramel crunch treats. In the upper class, passengers can enjoy millionaire chocolate logs and an exquisite cheese platter. The airline will also serve Lindt chocolate reindeer as a symbolic way to spread Christmas cheer in the skies.

Premium and upper-class passengers will enjoy a Mile-High tea to complement the festivities. Various holiday-inspired cuisines will be available aboard the flight, including Brie, cranberry, cheese, and fig chutney finger sandwiches paired with chocolate orange mini Christmas pudding. The airline will also serve blackberry and bay leaf macarons, mince pie éclair, and warm scones. Virgin Atlantic will serve guests on these holiday flights a sparkling Christmas Spirit cocktail consisting of a mix of Black Cow Vodka with Champagne bubbles.

Enthusiastic host

Executives at Virgin Atlantic have shared excitement over the upcoming festivities. Aboard these select flights, passengers will participate in a unique flight offering. The Chief Customer and Operating Officer at Virgin Atlantic, Corneel Koster, shared the airline's enthusiasm for this event. Koster shared how the airline is proud to host such an event. It is grateful that it has the opportunity to help thousands of people travel to see their loved ones this Christmas season. It hopes this small token of appreciation will reflect that gratitude. Koster said,

“We know how much our customers are looking forward to travelling over Christmas, whether it be for some winter sun or to spend time with their loved ones. We want to ensure they start their journey with Virgin Atlantic in the best way possible and are more than ready to celebrate the festive period, as we get our customers to their destinations in style.”

Subsequent festivity

During the week following Christmas, passengers aboard select Virgin Atlantic flights departing December 31st will have the opportunity to celebrate the countdown to New Year's with the cabin crew. On this day, all passengers departing the UK will have the chance to try Lily O'Brien's signature chocolates, Keylime Pie and Le Crunch Chocolat. Upper and premium-class passengers will be offered mini bottles of champagne.
