Simple Flying
Program allows elite members to enjoy JetBlue perks based on their current status with other airlines

US carrier JetBlue is expanding its popular status match program to include domestic low-cost carriers. Frequent flyers at one of seven airlines can now receive Mosaic status at JetBlue based on their existing elite status elsewhere.

A boost for frequent flyers

JetBlue initially launched its Match To Mosaic program with four airlines: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. As of this week, members of Spirit Airlines' Free Spirit, Frontier's Frontier Miles, and Southwest's Rapid Rewards programs can all bring their elite status to JetBlue.

The airline's TrueBlue program is not linked to any of the major alliances, which allows it to work with airlines that are in competing alliances. This allows members to book and redeem points with additional carriers, and JetBlue appears eager to encourage travelers to try its program.

Once approved, members will enjoy Mosaic 1 or 2 status for three months and have the opportunity to extend their status through the end of the following calendar year by earning Tiles in the program.

How to use the JetBlue status match

To enter the status match, one must go to the official webpage to complete the online form. Applicants are then asked to choose the program and tier from which they are matching before inputting their TrueBlue account number and uploading a screenshot showing proof of their status level (including their full name, status, YTD qualification progress, and loyalty program number.

Those applying to match to Mosaic 2 must also submit a screenshot or photo of their most recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email showing their status. The full table of equivalent elite status tiers can be found below:
