The new offering comes after a complete refresh of JetBlue's TrueBlue loyalty program

Delta Air Lines SkyMiles Medallion Members will soon have a new status-match from another United States-based airline. JetBlue announced on Tuesday that it would offer Medallion Members the ability to status-match to a Mosaic Membership, which is the airline's highest level in its loyalty program.

Becoming Mosaic status

JetBlue recently revamped its loyalty program, which is called the TrueBlue loyalty program. However, it has gone further with its benefits and will now offer a status match. Medallion Members of the Delta SkyMiles program can sign up at JetBlue's website for the option to match their status to the TrueBlue status of Mosaic. However, Medallion Members must move fast as the offering is only available until October 31 or until the program has reached 30,000 applicants. Eligible Medallion Members can expect to see their status matched on or before November 6.

There is a direct conversion between the SkyMiles Medallion tiers and the Mosaic level members will be assigned. SkyMiles Medallion Silver members convert to Mosaic level one, Medallion Gold Members convert to Mosaic level two, Medallion Platinum Members convert to Mosaic level three, and obviously, Medallion Diamond members convert to Mosaic level four.

Additionally, the status match allows the Medallion Members to take advantage of specifically crafted perks from JetBlue's Perks You Pick program. Each Mosaic level the member is converted to corresponds to an additional perk JetBlue offers. Medallion Members that reach Mosaic level one can take advantage of a Mint Suite Priority, those that reach Mosaic level two are given a pet fee waiver, those that reach Mosaic level three are given a FoundersCard Blue Membership, and those that are converted to Mosaic level four are given 15,000 bonus points to the TrueBlue program.

Although the status match is only valid until the end of the year, Mosaic members can keep their newly assigned status by reaching various milestones. As a Mosaic member spends money on JetBlue flights or through a JetBlue credit card, they earn various tiles. To keep their Mosaic status through 2024, each Mosaic level must earn a certain amount of tiles. The tile earnings are as follows: six for Mosaic one, twelve for Mosaic two, 18 for Mosaic three, and 24 for Mosaic four. Reaching these milestones will allow the member to keep their Mosaic status through the end of next year.

Newly revamped TrueBlue program

Earlier this year, JetBlue moved away from a qualifying points system and moved to a simple spend-based system. TrueBlue members can earn one tile by spending $100 on a JetBlue flight or spending $1,000 on any JetBlue credit card.

Becoming Mosaic status earns passengers significant rewards. For example, a passenger that reaches Mosaic level one receives early boarding, priority check-in, two free checked bags, complimentary alcoholic beverages in the main cabin, and even extra legroom seats if they are available.

Even prior to receiving Mosaic levels, travelers can earn Group B boarding, alcoholic drink tickets, 2x point bookings, and 5,000 point bonuses as the travelers earn ten tiles. As the traveler earns a new Mosaic level, additional benefits are received. This includes tile bonuses, point bonuses, pet fee waivers, and even Mint Suite Priority.
