JetBlue has launched its new route from Boston to Paris, which will operate as a daily service. The airline's Airbus A321LR fleet will serve this route, featuring 24 Mint suites and 114 seats in economy.

JetBlue inaugurates Boston-Paris

The carrier completed its inaugural flight on the newly minted route yesterday (Wednesday, April 3), bolstering its growing transatlantic network. JetBlue Flight 33 departed Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) at 20:47 local time, arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) at 09:28 the following morning.

The flight was operated by one of the airline's A321LR aircraft (registration: N4077J). The full schedule for the new daily service is as follows (all times local):

Per Cirium, JetBlue will compete with Air France and Delta Air Lines on this route - AF operates 11 weekly flights with its Airbus A350-900s, while Delta has a daily service with its A330neos. JetBlue already flies to Paris CDG from New York JFK (JFK), a route it launched in June 2023 with a daily flight. The airline plans to boost frequencies on this route this summer, upping to a double-daily from June 20th onwards.

Seat sale

The airline is offering introductory fares starting at $599 for a roundtrip for US-originating customers and €499 ($549) for passengers originating from France. For those who want to experience the airline's award-winning Mint cabin, roundtrip fares start at $2,499 for US flyers and €1,999 ($2,199) for France-originating customers.

European expansion

Since launching its first transatlantic flight from New York JFK (JFK) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) over two-and-a-half years ago, JetBlue has established a foothold in Europe with the addition of Amsterdam, Paris and seasonal flights to Dublin (with Ednburgh joining next month).

Just a month after launching JFK-LHR in August 2021, the airline began flying to London Gatwick Airport (LGW) from New York's busiest airport. It would then launch another route from Boston to Gatwick in the summer of 2022.

In 2023, it launched its first flights to Paris out of JFK in June before inaugurating a new route from JFK to Amsterdam in August. This year, JetBlue has already started its new seasonal routes between New York and Boston to Dublin (DUB), which commenced on March 13th, and will begin flying from JFK to Edinburgh Airport (EDI) in May.
