News / Walmart+ takes flight with Delta: More to explore onboard this holiday season
This holiday travel season, SkyMiles Members have even more ways to enjoy their time on board and beyond

Making your holiday shopping list? No need to check it twice – customers traveling with Delta this holiday season never have to worry about forgetting to pack something again.
Beginning this month, Delta is teaming up with Walmart+ on Delta Sync Wi-Fi to offer customers the power and convenience of shopping from the air, with their preferences, all before they land. The convenience to buy while you fly while accessing fast, free Wi-Fi is another example of how Delta is giving SkyMiles Members even more ways to make the most of their time onboard and beyond.
Walmart+ is the premier retailer of Delta Sync Wi-Fi and the first brand to join the platform since launch in April. Walmart+ joins Paramount+, T-Mobile, New York Times Games, Resy, Atlas Obscura and more as mainstay brands helping to elevate the in-flight experience.
Beginning this month, SkyMiles Members can log in to Delta Sync Wi-Fi to join Walmart+ for $98 and earn 2,500 bonus miles plus $10 off their first Walmart.com order. Once they join, customers can maximize their time on board by browsing everything Walmart’s comprehensive membership has to offer: early access to holiday deals, free shipping, free delivery from Walmart stores, an included Paramount+ subscription, savings on fuel and more.
Partnerships built on connectivity
In the 11 months since announcing fast, free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile at CES 2023, Delta has been rolling out connectivity at an unprecedented scale. Customers have logged more than 32 million streaming-quality Delta Sync Wi-Fi sessions – reclaiming their travel time to discover more onboard.
But bringing Wi-Fi to Delta’s global fleet is just one piece of the puzzle.
