This year’s MICHELIN GUIDE was released this month and solidified the Golden State’s reputation as one of the world’s premiere dining destinations by awarding the following credentials:
- 18 new MICHELIN Stars across the state
- 89 restaurants in the state now hold at least 1 MICHELIN Star (7 hold 3-Star status)
- 2 new Green Stars for sustainability achievements were also awarded
- California is now home to 11 of the 13 restaurants in the US holding Green Stars
The spectacular Addison also became the state’s newest 3-Star restaurant. All 7 of the 2022 MICHELIN GUIDE’s 3-Star California restaurants are located outside Los Angeles, highlighting the diverse cultural and culinary boom taking place across the state – from San Francisco all the way down to Coronado.
