Club Med is moving ahead with plans for a second Canadian resort, Club Med Tremblant.

The news caps off Club Med’s 75th anniversary year, and comes six months after the company first announced strategic discussions to develop the resort.

Club Med Tremblant is a ground-up project, and the first premium all-inclusive resort in the region. The upscale ski-in/ski-out resort will be located steps away from the village.

Club Med Tremblant marks a major expansion for the brand in Canada following the success of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, says Carolyne Doyon, CEO, North America & Caribbean for Club Med.

“Canada continues to be a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Carolyne Doyon, CEO, North America & Caribbean for Club Med.

“With the upcoming opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience – providing immersive, one-of-a-kind vacations that have defined Club Med for decades,” Doyon added.

Last Friday, Doyon and Rémy Bourgeon, President of French management company Alderan representing the SCPI Comète, signed a major financing agreement for the construction of the new premium resort.

The agreement includes a long-term lease allowing Club Med to operate the site, as well as a construction contract appointing Club Med as delegated project owner responsible for the overall development. Alderan, on behalf of the SCPI Comète, acquired the land from the real estate development company Brivia, which is focusing on its residential condo project on the adjacent property.

“With this investment in Canada, which will be operated by Club Med, a globally recognized premium all-inclusive vacation brand, the SCPI Comète – which we developed two years ago – takes a major step forward in its international development and investment strategy. Improvements Coming for Mont Tremblant

Club Med Tremblant is slated to open in December 2028.

• Dedicated age-specific Kids Clubs for children 4 months to 17 years
• A wide range of summer activities such as hiking, water activities, and more

• GOs delivering Club Med’s signature hospitality

Aligned with Club Med’s global development standards, Club Med Tremblant will target LEED certification and Green Globe operational certification.

Club Med says Tremblant offers many advantages for hosting a project of this scale. Itʻs a recognized four-season destination that aligns well with Club Med’s international clientele.

In November 2025, Club Med and Station Mont Tremblant signed agreements to develop future partnerships, especially on the ski school. The agreement also includes commitments from Station Mont Tremblant to carry out new improvements to the mountain.

Club Med Québec Charlevoix, which opened in 2021, has welcomed more than 130,000 guests in four years with an average occupancy rate of 80%.

Club Med Tremblant will serve as a new flagship for Club Med and marks a significant milestone in the company’s long-term ambition to expand its mountain leadership in North America.
