Updated policies for guests and agents
June 8 - Club Med’s gradual recovery plan continues with plans to reopen its North-American resorts.
After several weeks of unprecedented crisis management due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Club Med will first reopen Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Florida on June 12, followed by two additional North-American resorts: Club Med Cancún Yúcatan in Mexico on July 1, and Club Med Turkoise in Turks & Caicos on Aug. 1.
Air-inclusive packages at Cancún Yúcatan start at $1,599 per adult and are available for departures until Jan. 9, 2021.
Air-inclusive packages at the recently renovated Club Med Turkoise start at $1,699 per adult and are available for departures until Jan. 9, 2021 as well.
Club Med’s ‘Safe Together’ program, which includes new hygiene and safety protocols, will be implemented at all resorts to ensure the health and safety of its guests. These include operating at a maximum resort capacity of 65%, plexiglass protection on all service counters, digital and in-app services such as ‘Easy Check-In’, face coverings for all staff, temperature checks for staff and guests, increased frequency of deep cleaning in public areas, 24/7 doctor/nurse services, increased distance between tables, and hand sanitizer being made available throughout the resort.
For added peace of mind, Club Med has also updated its policies for guests and travel agents, as follows:

Two agent incentives have been introduced to reward agents’ extra efforts in booking travel credits. The incentives are valid for both individual and group travel.• An additional commission of 2%, on top of the current rate and applicable conditions, will be offered on the amount of travel credit for all bookings using future travel credit for departures up to March 31, 2021
• Club Med will offer a $50 gift card for individual reservations and $300 for groups of 20 or more people, for all new reservations or reservations using travel credit made before Aug. 31, 2020, for stays travelled in 2020
