As travel demand continues to recover, Delta will resume nonstop service between two of its global hubs - Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Seoul-Incheon International Airport (ICN) - effective October 2, 2022.
Flights will initially operate three times per week before increasing to daily service on October 29. With the move to daily MSP-ICN service, Delta will have fully restored its Korea flying to 2019 pre-pandemic levels.
The MSP-ICN resumption joins Delta’s planned relaunch of daily Seoul service Seattle on July 12, while existing service from Atlanta and Detroit will increase to daily on August 2.
Delta’s MSP-ICN route will operate on its flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft with a choice of four experiences – Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
Customers traveling in Delta One will enjoy refreshed amenities and services including artisan-made Someone Somewhere amenity kits, soft and comfortable bedding made from recycled materials, pre-departure beverage service, chef-curated three-course meals and decadent desserts featuring build-your-own ice cream sundaes.
Delta Premium Select, the airline’s premium economy cabin, includes more space to relax and stretch out with a wider seat with deeper recline and an adjustable footrest and leg rest. Customers will also receive upgraded amenity kits, noise-canceling headsets, blankets and memory-foam pillows to help them arrive rested and refreshed.
All customers will have access to Wi-Fi onboard and Delta’s best-in-class seatback entertainment, while powering up their own devices with in-seat power and USB ports. Customers will also enjoy refreshed premium food and beverage options from small businesses, suppliers from across the globe and woman- and LGBTQ+-led brands.
