Travel & Selling Tips / What to pack in your carry on for your next flight
What's in your carry-on?
By: Christiane Dizon
Whether travelling on a short or long haul flight, there are always specific items you need to have in your carry-on. Besides having a pen, notebook and travel papers, here is a list of carry-on musts!
An empty water bottle
Whether it is plastic or a stainless steel bottle, it is important to bring this along with you to stay hydrated on your flights. Even though you can get water on the plane, it is nice to have it available whenever you need it. Just remember go through security with it empty and fill it up while waiting to board.Hydrate your body
Candies & Snacks
Sometimes the food options on the flight are not to your liking, so pack a snack! Make sure whatever you pack is allowed through security and try to avoid nuts in case someone around you is allergic. A pack of gum or a few sweets are a must if you are prone to get motion sickness.Stay Smooth
Say goodbye to dry skin on flights and keep moisturized. It is always good to bring a travel sized body lotion and face lotion, especially on long haul flights. Don't forget your lip balm to keep your lips nice and smooth.Apply lotion to keep sliky smooth on your flights
Hand Sanitizer
For our hygiene conscience travellers! Bring a small bottle of hand sanitizer or wipes, so you can keep clean before eating your onboard snack.Extra Layers
When you are up in the air it can get a little chilly. Make sure you pack a sweater or a scarf on your flight. Depending on what your footwear is, pack a pair of warm socks so you don’t have to wear your shoes on the whole flight.Warm and cozy on the ride
Sleeping in Peace
Pack a pair of ear plugs and a neck pillow to keep comfy on your flight. Block out all the noises around you and nap your flight away.Entertainment
Doesn't matter how long the flight, you will always need some entertainment. These are some things that you can bring along: • Phone with a ready playlist for your trip • Don't forget your chargers to make sure your electronics are at 100% once you get to your destination. • An Ipad to play games, watch movies or read a book.Listen to your heart warming playlists
Extra Tip
Ever have to check-in your carry-on luggage because there is no room in the overheads? If you don't have a lock for your luggage you can use a zip-tie to secure those zippers shut. It is hard to open without a pair of scissors and if someone does open it you will be able to tell.
