Travel & Selling Tips / Getting to know the Lares Trek with G Adventures
What you should know about hiking the Lares Trek
G Adventures would like to remind clients that there is a second great hike to be done in Peru, the Lares Trek. On the Lares Trek trip, clients will get three days of trekking through the mountains around the Sacred Valley, passing by remote communities, farms and friendly faces.
Clients will also stop at a pottery community supported by G Adventures and at a weaving co-op. Since clients will already be so close at the time, G Adventures will also take them to Machu Picchu via a scenic train ride.
Valid on November 1, from Cusco to Cusco, this seven-day trip starts from $1,349. Accommodations are hotels for four nights and camping for two nights. Six breakfasts, four lunches and two dinners are included.
This trip is a small group experience. Group size is 12 people on average, with a maximum of 16 allowed. This tour is for active travellers as its physically demanding due to some high-altitude hikes.
