Pet-Friendly Helpful Tips:

  • Travellers must apply to the Chief Veterinary Officer for an import permit.
  • Pets must have a microchip and up-to-date rabies vaccination.
  • An Application (and small fee) is required for pets and service animals for entry.
  • The 14-day confinement is waived for visitors spending 14 days or fewer. Visitors returning with pets within a year of their initial visit, need only pay the application fee.
