Riu Palace Mexico is showing off a whole new look, with a top-to-bottom refresh that adds new dining, upgraded rooms and an exclusive Elite Club experience.

Located beachfront in Playacar, the adults-only property was the first Riu Palace hotel to open in Mexico in 1999. The latest transformation updates the resort’s interiors and guest rooms while enhancing its all-inclusive offering.

The 434-room hotel now features redesigned accommodations with soft tones, natural wood finishes, warm lighting and private terraces or balconies. The property also offers five swimming pools, including one reserved for Elite Club guests.

New Elite Club Experience

A total of 56 rooms have been designated for the new Elite Club category, with 30 featuring private pools.

Elite Club guests have access to a dedicated reception area for personalized check-in, premium beverages, à la carte breakfasts and an exclusive restaurant for dinner.

The experience also includes access to a new infinity pool and private bar reserved for Elite Club guests.

More Dining Options

Riu Palace Mexico now offers nine restaurants spanning international, Asian, Italian and steakhouse concepts.

Dining venues include Don Julián, Guacamole, Miyagi, La Dolce Vita, Krystal and the Steak House, along with the exclusive Elite Club restaurant.

More casual options include the Tiki Taco station and Pepe’s Grill.

The renovation also introduces a refreshed design throughout the property, with the lobby featuring dark marble floors, light architectural framing, crystal chandeliers and large glass arches overlooking the resort’s tropical gardens.
