Hyatt Inclusive Collection has a new opening date for Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, one of its flagship resorts in the D.R.

The targeted time frame now puts the opening for the new resort in Q3 2026. Currently, bookings are being accepted from August 28, 2026 onwards.

Once open Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana will be the first Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts branded property in the Dominican Republic.

First announced in January 2025, the adults-only property will cater to a new generation of travellers, said Hyatt, emphasizing flexibility, experiential programming and wellness-focused amenities alongside multiple dining venues, pools and entertainment spaces.

The 500-room resort will offer a spa, indoor/outdoor gyms, pickleball and tennis courts as well as a juice and healthy snack bar. There will also be five specialty restaurants, casual dining alternatives like a sports bar and a barefoot beach grill & bar, a speakeasy jazz club, four pools, swimout rooms, a quiet corner pool serviced by its own wet bar, and a convention centre.
