The Leading Hotels of the World have banded together with their member hotels to create Stay It Forward certificates - prepaid hotel stays that provide financial assistance to those who need it most.

Many of the individuals that make up the company’s community of hotels have faced serious challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with global travel bans and pervasive feelings of uncertainty causing a major slowdown in international travel. At one point nearly 80% of the hotels in our collection made the difficult decision to close their doors, either by choice or government mandate, resulting in serious consequences for their businesses, their teams, and their communities.

 

 

So The Leading Hotels of the World started looking for ways to help, and the idea of Stay It Forward certificates was born.

 

How it Works, and What's Included

The Leading Hotels of the World has banded together with their member hotels to sell a limited number of Stay It Forward certificates, USD 1,500 pre-paid stay certificates designed to make you feel good now, and later. Now, because 100% of the funds generated by the sale of each certificate will be donated to the employees of the hotel facing financial hardships, or to a charity doing essential work for their communities. And later, because you’ll have holiday you've been dreaming of on the horizon.

 

Each Stay It Forward certificate includes:

• A 2-night stay at double occupancy at any of the participating hotels • Access to an exclusive experience during your stay, such as a wine blending session in Mendoza, Argentina, or a private tour around the Greek island of Zakynthos • A 1-year Leaders Club membership (USD 175 value) • 1,500 Leaders Club bonus points (USD 120 value – free stays begin around 3,000 points) that may be applied toward a future stay booked through The Leading Hotels of the World or your local travel agent

 

Certificate expiration dates vary by hotel and will be confirmed at the time of purchase, however, certificates will not expire sooner than June 10, 2022.
