DisneylandForward is a long-term collaborative planning initiative with the City of Anaheim aimed at revising current development approvals to enable Disney to make substantial investments in Anaheim for the future and address the evolving entertainment needs.

These revised approvals will support the Disneyland Resort in maintaining its position as a pioneering force in the industry, enabling the introduction of unique attractions to Anaheim like Cars Land, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and Avengers Campus.

These financial commitments generate employment opportunities, attract visitors to Anaheim, boost occupancy in resort hotels, support small businesses in the resort area, and contribute essential revenue to the City's general fund for vital services like fire, police, and schools, benefiting all residents of Anaheim.

On May 7, 2024, the Anaheim City Council unanimously voted to approve DisneylandForward.

Although this project is in its early phases of a multiyear process, Anaheim is enthusiastic about the potential to develop more cohesive and engaging experiences similar to those found in their theme parks worldwide, meeting the demands of today's guests. Disneyland Resort anticipates collaborating with the city and community to shape the future of the destination.
