Railbookers is offering more ways to see the world by luxury train next year with a new and expanded collection of rail journeys.

Returning for 2026 is the flagship 60-day ‘Around the World’ by Luxury Train trip featuring new trains, hotels and activities over two months, alongside four departures throughout the year ranging from 29 to 48 days.

In total, 11 iconic luxury train routes will be available in the 2026 collection, along with new hotels and sightseeing activities.

Around the world in 60 days

The flagship journey departs Sept. 2, 2026, beginning in Vancouver with Rocky Mountaineer before continuing to Banff. From there, travellers fly to the United Kingdom for stays in Edinburgh and London, with journeys aboard the Belmond Royal Scotsman and the newly-introduced Britannic Explorer. A flight to Italy follows, where guests will board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Paris and continue on to Istanbul.

The adventure heads to India by plane for six nights on the Maharajas’ Express, followed by a flight to South Africa with time aboard Rovos Rail and a three-night stay at the Kruger Shalati “train on the bridge” hotel. The trip concludes in Asia with a three-night journey on the Eastern & Oriental Express from Singapore.

New month-long itineraries

For 2026, Railbookers has introduced four new extended journeys designed for travellers seeking a month-long adventure without committing to two full months away. These 29- to 48-day journeys span continents and include:

• Grand Rail and Safari Journey: Singapore to Venice by Train (35 days) featuring the Eastern & Oriental Express, Rovos Rail, Britannic Explorer and Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
• Luxury Rails and Wonders from Vietnam to Scotland by Train (48 days) featuring the Golden Eagle Silk Road Express, Rovos Rail, La Dolce Vita Orient Express, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Belmond Royal Scotsman
• Grand London to Istanbul: Royal Scotsman, VSOE & Golden Eagle (32 days) featuring the Britannic Explorer, Belmond Royal Scotsman, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Golden Eagle Danube Express
• Venice to Victoria Falls and South Africa by Luxury Train (29 days) featuring the Golden Eagle Danube Express and Rovos Rail
