CIS is the health division of Cristal International Standards that has actively collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) in defining standards for the protection of guests and staff in hotels.

The POSI-Check protocol has several aspects. You may find it boring to read the detailed list, but Viva wants you to know that it covers many fields: Increase in the frequency of cleaning actions related to food and beverages, not only in kitchens but also in warehouses; intensified cleaning of gyms, spas, kids' club and recreational areas; use of hospital-grade disinfectants in common and high-contact areas; control of the decontamination of swimming pools according to defined procedures; control of ventilation systems and constant maintenance. Procedures for staff, training, instructions, equipment, signatures, all aimed at the safety of staff and guests. Application of the safety distance. Definition of a specific plan in the event of a possible positive case, with immediate management of the emergency.  

Viva has also made the possibility of carrying out COVID detection tests in their hotels before returning home

You can book an appointment with a doctor within Viva's hotels at least 24 hours in advance. The samples are taken to hospitals with which Viva has reliable agreements.

Viva gives you a health insurance

The Hotel Assist policy is available to guests who book directly online at vivaresorts.com. Once booked, insurance is automatically included. Extremely simple! The Assist policy has a value of USD 10,000. It is valid from the moment of check-in to check-out at Viva properties.
