SLS is set to debut its first-ever all-inclusive resort, SLS Playa Mujeres, situated on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.

Opening November 15, 2024 in Playa Mujeres, located a few miles north of Cancun, the resort will offer 498 lavishly-appointed rooms and suites, 18 restaurant and bar concepts, a destination spa, three outdoor pools, a private beach and marina, dedicated kids’ zones, and an expansive events center culminating in a 905 square-metre ballroom.

Each room and suite boasts a private balcony, terrace or garden with a swimout pool. Guestrooms are set across 16 categories ranging from the 50 square-metre Delight Guestroom, to the 560 square-metre, three-bedroom The Envy Suite. There’s also the all-new Elite category, which gives guests exclusive access to VIP dining, entertainment and amenities.

As for dining, Playa Mujeres’ 18 culinary and mixology venues include Fi’lia, Cleo and Privilege, already familiar to longstanding SLS fans and regulars. Menus showcase a range of cuisines including Greek, French, Japanese and Mexican, served in a variety of atmospheres that range from a Mediterranean beach club to a hidden cocktail bar.

Entertainment will be a cornerstone of the Playa Mujeres experience. Guests can enjoy a family movie in the state-of-the-art cinema or a showstopping cabaret. For younger guests, there are dedicated areas designed for each age group, from toddlers to teens. While the kids are busy building sandcastles, adults are free to escape to Ciel spa, a serene space featuring thermal baths, 20 treatment rooms, an outdoor pool, salon and gym.

Other resort amenities include 2,217 square metres of customizable event space featuring flexible rooms ideal for conferences, presentations, receptions and celebrations for up to 920 guests. There’s also an outdoor theatre, water and land sports, yacht excursions from the private marina, and an 18-hole golf course designed by Greg Norman located just five minutes from the resort.
