Norwegian Cruise Line’s brand new ship, Norwegian Viva, set sail today from Venice (Trieste).
Norwegian Viva is the second in NCL’s Prima Class, after sister ship Norwegian Prima.
Norwegian Viva departed for its first journey through the Mediterranean, sailing for Lisbon with stops along the way including Salerno, Cannes and Ibiza, among others.

The ship will sail a selection of Greek Isles and Med voyages through November, before homeporting in San Juan, Puerto Rico from December 2023 to March 2024 for a season in the Caribbean, with calls to Tortola, BVI; St. John’s, Antigua; Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, St. Lucia; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and St. Thomas, USVI.
In May 2024 Norwegian Viva will return to Europe for more Med itineraries.
Norwegian Viva’s official christening ceremony will take place in Miami on November 28, 2023, with godfather Luis Fonsi.
