Hapag-Lloyd Cruises
All new reservations will fall under either the Platinum or Silver fare

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has announced a simplified two-fare pricing model that the company says will make booking decisions easier for travellers.

Effective immediately, all new reservations will fall under either the Platinum or Silver fare, replacing the previous three-tier structure. The line says the new approach is designed to bring more transparency and provide travellers with greater flexibility, depending on their needs.

The Platinum fare is now the more flexible option. Travellers can take advantage of one free rebooking up to 90 days before departure, with cancellations permitted up to 180 days prior for a small fee. Adjusted policies also apply to voyages lasting more than 22 days and to top suite categories. The fare continues to offer perks such as free choice of cabin or suite, deck selection and early booking access for shore excursions.

The Silver fare maintains the same scope of included services previously offered. With this option, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises assigns the cabin or suite and deck, and shore excursions become available 14 days after publication.

The company is also preparing to roll out a service enhancement starting Jan. 3, 2026. All guests will receive a selection of complimentary soft drinks throughout the day. Other inclusions remain unchanged, such as champagne on arrival, a minibar refilled daily, 24-hour cabin service, gourmet full board and, depending on itinerary, experiences like Zodiac excursions.
