The news broke at yesterday’s D23 Expo 2022, a biennial event for the official fan club of The Walt Disney Company. The ‘D’ is for Disney and the ’23’ is for 1923, the year Walt Disney founded the company.
Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products hosted D23 Expo 2022’s showcase presentation, ‘A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products’. The event offered a glimpse at what’s to come at the parks, cruise ships and more.
As for the brand new Disney Treasure, so far we know that the ship’s decor will pick up on themes from the Disney movie Aladdin, with a signature statue in the ship’s soaring Grand Hall of Aladdin and Jasmine and the Magic Carpet.
