Dan Hotels unveils upcoming and complete renos and new tour partnership

Dan Hotels unveiled new looks for renovated public rooms and guest rooms at many of its hotels at a travel agent workshop.

Representatives from the Israel Ministry of Tourism and El Al were also in attendance at the event. El Al purchased 16 Dreamliner airbuses for medium to long-haul flights and also announced new routes from Boston, and a partnership with Porter Airlines for passengers to connect in Newark, NJ before continuing on to Tel Aviv.

Dan Hotels Renovations

Dan Hotels’ multimillion renovation project aims to upgrade the main lobby, guest rooms, VIP lounge and bars in multiple hotels. Between the 13 properties there are 3,850 rooms, in top destinations across Israel.
Upcoming
Renovations to the Deluxe Rooms in the main building of Dan Accadia in Herzilya will be completed by the first week of April 2017.

For families or groups travelling together, the Dan Eilat features large Family Rooms and can accommodate two adults and three children (under 12 years). All rooms face the Red Sea, have adults-only and family-friendly facilities, two pools and access to a semi-private beach. The Club Room with Balcony, Jacuzzi and Sea View are currently being upgraded with completion set for the end of 2017.

Completed
The Dan Carmel in Haifa completed renovations in 2014 to its Deluxe and Executive Level Rooms. Every bathroom has a separate bath and shower and all rooms with a terrace face the Bay of Haifa.

The Standard Rooms at the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv were renovated five years ago, with the Deluxe Rooms and Family Rooms updated in 2014.

Some of the completed rooms are already available for reservations. Agents can find the ‘new’ section under each room category. Guests staying at the Dan Eilat Panorama have access to Dan Eilat’s amenities and beach access.

Partnership with Gordon Travel

Dan Hotels’ partnership with Gordon Travel has introduced ‘Cycling Through Israel’, where guests get to visit famous sites, cycle through off beaten paths and trails along natural scenery, ancient history and archaeological sites. Certified adventure guides accompany groups throughout the entire tour.

While it is not an intensive itinerary, Dan Hotels recommends participants are comfortable with riding a bike and have some level of fitness skill. Guests are given a choice of two riding levels, between 20 to 50 miles per day. There are three guaranteed departure dates in May, September and October, 2017 with a minimum of two persons. Groups can also go with customized tour options although it is not recommended to cycle during the summer months. The program includes bike equipment and maintenance, luggage transfer, meals and security. A van accompanies the tour for riders who want to take a break or for groups that have people not riding at all.

All clients can enjoy a full Israeli breakfast and free WiFi for up to three devices per room. For added value, visitors are encouraged to get an e-Dan Membership with perks such as 5% discount on all direct bookings with Dan Hotels and an additional 12.5% discount on all extras from food and beverages to laundry. Members can also have early check-in, points redeemable for free nights and meals and special personalized offers.

With the GOLDAN 7 offer, guests who book a minimum of seven-nights accommodation within the chain receive the lowest rate in each hotel, with an average of $50 night. Dates do not have to be consecutive and are non-brand specific.
