Celebrity Cruises has announced two exclusive preview sailings of its brand new Celebrity Ascent, the fourth ship in the line’s groundbreaking Edge Series.

Set to debut in December 2023, the Celebrity Ascent will offer the following preview sailings prior to its official maiden voyage:

• 4-night Western Caribbean itinerary departing Port Everglades on November 22, 2023, sailing to Cozumel, Mexico over the American Thanksgiving holiday
• 3-night Bahamas cruise departing Port Everglades on November 26, 2023, visiting Nassau, Bahamas

Calling the ship “beautiful beyond words,” Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said she is “thrilled” to be able to offer travellers a sneak peek of all that it offers.

“These sampler sailings will cement in our guests’ hearts that the experience onboard a Celebrity ship goes beyond being a traditional cruise line, and they will definitely leave them wanting more in the year ahead,” she said.

The ‘twin sister’ of Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Ascent has been designed by a team that includes multi-award-winning British designer Kelly Hoppen, American designer Nate Berkus, British architect Tom Wright, Paris-based design firm Jouin Manku, and Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud.

Signature experiences and amenities found exclusively onboard a Celebrity Cruises Edge Series ship includes:

• Two-storey Edge Villa staterooms featuring direct access to the exclusive suite-only The Retreat Sun Deck, as well as Infinite Veranda staterooms that transform into open-air verandas, considered to be among the largest at sea
• The iconic Magic Carpet, the world’s first cantilevered cruise ship experience
• The Nate Berkus-designed Sunset Bar, a world-class Resort Deck with exclusive cabanas, infinity-edge plunge pools and two-storey Martini-shaped hot tubs
• More than 30 distinct food and drink venues, including the high-tech Le Petit Chef Dinner Experience, Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, and the Eden Restaurant featuring three-storey floor-to-ceiling windows
