Hong Kong Airlines is set to make its North American debut with the launch of its non-stop daily service between Vancouver, Canada (YVR) and Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) on June 30, 2017. This new year-round service will further link Vancouver and Canada with one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

To commemorate the airline’s entry into the Canadian market, Academy Award-winning Hollywood actor and world traveller Jackie Chan be an ambassador. He will be aboard the inaugural flight from Hong Kong to Vancouver on June 30. On July 2, Chan will also be at YVR to see-off passengers outbound for Hong Kong.

The service between Vancouver and Hong Kong on an A330-200 aircraft offers a number of amenities unique to this particular route, and Canadians will experience the airline’s award-winning service. The YVR-HKG route’s trilingual (English, Cantonese, Mandarin) flight attendants set it apart from other Asia Pacific carriers and represents HKA’s commitment to serving North American travellers.
