News / Airlines to resume services for August 15 reopening
Philip Goldson International Airport will be reopened on August 15th
July 28 - The Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport was previously closed on Monday, March 23rd after the last scheduled flight departed. On June 25, the Prime Minister of Belize officially announced that the Philip Goldson International Airport will be reopened on August 15th, 2020 to allow travel to Belize.
All travelers to Belize will be required to adhere to the arrival protocols and health and safety measures implemented by the Government of Belize including social distancing, hand sanitization, proper hygiene, and the wearing of face masks in public spaces.
The flights to resume service in Belize as of August 15th are as follows:
United Airlines United Airlines flights will resume on August 15th with five flights per week from Houston (IAH).
American Airlines
American Airlines flights will resume on August 18th with daily flights from Miami (MIA).
Delta Airlines
Delta Airlines flights will resume on September 3rd three times per week from Atlanta (ATL).
Sun Country Airlines
The seasonal airline wіll ореrаtе rоund trір flіghtѕ on December 19th оnсе a week оn Ѕаturdауѕ bеtwееn Міnnеароlіѕ/Ѕt. Раul (МЅР) аnd Рhіlір Ѕ. W. Gоldѕоn Іntеrnаtіоnаl Аіrроrt іn Веlіzе Сіtу (ВZЕ).
