As one of only five Blue Zones in the world, wellness plays an integral role in daily Sardinian life. This summer, Ayurveda guru Dr. Ulrich Bauhofer will be in residence at the resort’s spa, where guests can call on his expertise in stress and energy management. Then, from September 30 through October 6, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, an expert on nutrition and natural healing, will host an exclusive retreat. Throughout the week, guests can attend lectures by Dr. Fuhrman and dine on his signature Nutritarian cuisine.5) Amazing academies
Known for its wide range of sporting academies hosted by top professional athletes, this season’s lineup includes players heading up the Chelsea Football Academy and Rugby Academy, while Ettore Messina, assistant coach to the San Antonio Spurs, leads the basketball academy.New for this year Forte Village is hosting a fencing academy, and for the first time, two field hockey academies, one by Legends and the other from ProSticks, each lead by a roster of Olympic champions.
