Oceania Cruises has unveiled Oceania Aurelia, a newly reimagined ship purpose-built for extended global journeys, set to debut in late 2027.
Part of the line’s OceaniaNEXT program, the vessel, currently sailing as Oceania Nautica, will undergo a full transformation ahead of its relaunch. It will operate the brand’s 2028 and 2029 Around the World voyages along with a series of Grand Voyages.
The ship will accommodate fewer than 500 guests, supported by 400 crew, emphasizing a high level of personalized service. A key focus will be suite accommodations, with 179 of 238 staterooms designed as suites, many exceeding 300 square feet and some reaching up to 1,000 square feet. Categories will include remastered Owner’s, Vista and Penthouse Suites, along with new Oceania and Horizon Suites as well as a selection of Oceanview and Inside Suites.
Dining remains central to the experience, with venues such as The Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Toscana, Terrace Café, Waves Grill and Pizzeria offering regionally inspired menus. New culinary features include a Bakery and Crêperie, while the line’s Baristas coffee concept will relocate to Horizons. A new Founders Bar will introduce mixology experiences.
Programming is also geared toward longer voyages, with enrichment offerings including the Chef’s Studio for hands-on culinary workshops, Artist Loft for creative pursuits and the LYNC Digital Center for interactive learning. Guest speakers and expanded wellness facilities, including complimentary access to the Aquamar Spa Terrace, round out the onboard experience.
